A four-wheel drive tour of the island is one of the common tourist businesses on most of the islands.
If you have never driven yourself in the backcountry in a four wheel drive vehicle, I suppose this might be exciting.
As it was, it was only an intentionally rough excursion off the main road designed as a thrill ride for initiates.
The guides gave it their all with well-used banter and most of the entertainment came from watching the reactions of others.
The safari did access a couple of fairly dramatic view points that you might not have found or had access to on your own...
